How is Your Business Garden Growing?
August 2, 2010 5:57 pm Just for Fun
A few days in sunny, gracious, magnificent Victoria British Columbia certainly lifted my spirits and opened my eyes of rainbows of new possibilities for my life and business.
For the first time in years, I stayed officially “unplugged” from Facebook, Twitter, this blog, and every other aspect of technology and just focused on relaxation, enjoying my husband’s company, and considering the here and now.
No matter how my business garden grows, I know that taking time out to nurture my soul and my marriage means the world to me and sets the tone for whatever may be coming next.
How long has it been since you completely unplugged? Are you ready to give it a try? I highly recommend it!

Hurray for Nancy! And for me, it has been too long since I unplugged for as many days as you did. Way to take Exquisite Self-Care and honor thy self. While I unplug on Sunday of each week, I know that setting the intention for the coming week and seeking what’s possible is a great next step.
I am sure you came up with a whole basket full of ripe ideas as you walked through the garden of Unplug. Can’t wait to see them in action!

Oh Tammy,
I could write a sonnet about how how wonderful it was to explore Victoria without a cell phone in my pocket! And the world kept spinning, and my business was still here when I returned. What a lesson that was for me and one I want to keep close at hand to remember that balance in life and business is essential.
And, yes, I’ve got some exciting things brewing. Stay tuned to learn all the latest!
